  1. Current Round 1 wish-list:

    Derrius Guice
    Isaiah Wynn
    Will Hernandez
    Carlton Davis
    Arden Key

Any of those guys and I'm happy.

  2. God Arden Key would be such a waste in that defense.

  3. Though hefddp.

Ade Aruna running a 4.61 at 6'6 262 is one of the more impressive 40 times in years.

Shaquem Griffin 4.38 40. #32, Welcome to Philly.

  6. No. God dammit no lol. Arizona to replace Tyrann Mathieu or Jacksonville to compliment Tyrann Mathieu ;)

But also he'd be such a bad fit for Philly.

Calvin Ridley is in the 7th percentile of WRs in terms of athleticism. Pas bien.

  10. Is that one of those Gedeon Stats? Cause he's still the #1 receiver in the draft hahaha

SPARQ is a stat that multiple NFL teams use, Seahawks rely heavily on it. It's a pretty massive red flag that Ridley is an older prospect and a terrible athlete.

"Used to determine athleticism" "Seahawks rely heavily on it"

    I think that's case closed.

Mostly fucking with you while on break, sorry

I don't get it. Seahawks have been to two Super Bowls, have won eight playoff games, and haven't had a losing season in the last five years. They're now an example of a team doing it wrong? Athleticism isn't everything, but it's still a major factor bearing on a prospect's potential success.

  14. When did I say they were doing it wrong? All I'm saying is you're breaking out a metric for measuring receivers and name dropping one of the worst receiving corps in the league as an example. It's not exactly a compelling case. Give me an average athlete who knows what to do over a great athlete who doesn't. If these mental aspects were so easily coach-able, scheme wouldn't matter.

  16. If it wasn't for teams like Miami lurking, I'd announce Barkley as the pick right now.

It's not a metric for measuring receivers, it's a metric for measuring athleticism across positions. Never said mental aspects were easily coachable, nor that athleticism trumps skill or anything like that. Athleticism does matter though, there are exceptions but most of the great receivers in the league have either size/length or agility/speed or some combination of both; Ridley has neither.

    Edit:

  18. Yeah I don't think Ridley's ceiling is terrible high. I've been saying all along whoever gets him is getting a really good WR2.

Also that tweet is pretty meaningless haha.

  19. I want to add Michael Gallup to my list. Panthers don't have a receiver like him.

How do front offices and coaches shake these things out, between the on the field play and the analytics?

  22. Depends on the front office. I'm not convinced th3 Browns have made a habit of itm

Just saw the interview with Patricia during today's combine, he definitely had a twinkle in his eye when he was talking about Davenport.

  24. Sign Andrew Norwell
    1st - Gesicki
    Trade up for DJ Chark
Shaquem Griffin as a Defensive Weapon.
