I agree, I think Nelson is the top prospect in the draft. He's my number one right now. There's no one else I'd feel as comfortable taking. Barkley is amazing but this RB class is deep as fuck. I'm high on McGlinchey, Brown, and Williams.
I remember laken Tomlinson was seen as a can't miss ND has a resume as of late with DD and Martin so that helps
Oh no Clement was downright stupid. Wasn't injured, wasn't in trouble, was one of the best backs in college the year he came out, and came from a RB school.
Didn't he have some injury history? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought he went down a time or two in his career. I love how the eagles get good players who grew up as big fans, that's super cool.
Clement did have a minor off the field thing a couple years ago, I think he was cited for disorderly conduct or something
First round wishlist for Panthers: Isaiah Wynn - even if we resign Norwell I think this would be a solid pick to reach on depending how the rest of the first round falls. Kalil is frequently injured and he could be gone soon. Wynn could be his replacement in between Turner and Norwell, or Norwell’s replacement if we can’t resign him. Best available DB - hard to gauge how the CBs will fall until after the combine but there seems to be a nice group of players at the top. I think one will definitely be there at #24. It’d be nice to not have to rely on Worley. Harrison could be a nice fit as well. Mike Adams was terrible last season. Sam Hubbard - We need some competition for the old guys. Peppers may or may not be back. Johnson is bad. Not a lot of depth at DE. Hubbard looks promising. OT, WR, and a RB to replace Stew are obviously needs but I don’t know if the value will be there at our pick. Maybe an OT falls. But the skills guys will be there in rounds 2 and 3.
What do you know about Bruce Nector and Siran Neal? They’re two of my favorite late-round guys I’m big on right now.
Siran Neal might be my fifth safety if he weren't 24 years old already. I love that he can play safety, linebacker, and corner. That's valuable in the NFL. At the very least, he'll be a very good special teamer early in his career. I haven't watched a lot of the interior linemen much, but Hector is not very scheme versatile because of his length. I think he'll strictly be a 4-3 DL.
I think that Kalen Ballage was criminally underutilized at Arizona State. I'm a huge Nick Chubb fan, but the injury history pushes him down. Sony Michel is a solid player, but he's not an every down back to me. He has nice power, but the only way he helps you on third and long is in pass protection. He is not a good receiver.
Corey Clement really isn't all that great to me. I'm glad he played well against New England, but he was pretty inconsistent during the regular season.
I didn’t realize he was 24. That honestly doesn’t bother me too much if he is more pro-ready than a 20-year old coming into the league who will need 2-3 years to develop anyways. But I get why that bumps him down. Hector just caught my eye because he was putting up nice stat lines.
