If Doncic falls to Memphis at pick 4, that pick could be valuable to a team like the Bulls. I feel like this draft really takes a dip in “game changer” guys after the top five and then it gets sketchy to predict outside the top 12/13. If Doncic is there, what if the Bulls traded pick 7 and Bobby Portis or Kris Dunn for pick 4 and Parsons. Memphis gets to start over, still have a decent draft prospect, and a young player on a small contract. For the Bulls, you at the very least get to see what a core of Doncic/Markkanen can do with two years of dealing with the Parsons contract while still having cap space for whatever roster spots they need to fill in free agency.
I have a suspicion the Zhaire Smith/Sixers rumors are connected to the Sixers trading down rumors Whether it's to jack up the value of the pick or because they do want to move down and take him, idk
