The Packers select corner back Josh Jackson from Iowa New DC Mike Pettine believes the best pass rush is having a fantastic secondary - look at his first few years as the Jets DC for proof. So the Packers select one of the biggest playmakers at the position - Iowa’s Josh Jackson (8 INTs in 12 games during the 2017 season) With current corners Demarious Randall and Kevin King inconsistent at best (not to mention injury prone) - Jackson will make an immediate impact.
Well with him on the clock at 15, might as well get this done. *TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT* Arizona Cardinals Receive QB Nick Foles (Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles great) Philadelphia Eagles Receive 2018 2nd Round Pick (#47 Overall) 2019 Conditional 5th Round Pick (Potential to rise to 3rd Round Pick, performance based).
Listen, if your team has never won a super bowl...please get to the back of the room. Real teams are doing work here. Thanks, Tyler. See ya.
The Arizona Cardnials Select : Cameron Sutton, WR, SMU with the 15th pick. Trading for Nick Foles requires the Cardnials to go this route, with Fitz getting older by the day and Jaron Brown being a free agent Sutton fits this need perfectly.
The Baltimore Ravens trade the 16th overall pick for Buffalo’s 21st and 121st overall picks. @EntryLevelDave is up
Round 1, Pick 16 - The Buffalo Bills Select Minkah Fitzpatrick Frankly, I'm surprised he fell so far. BPA on my board and while safety may not be the biggest need, he's worth going to grab.
Round 1, Pick 17 - Los Angeles Chargers select Isaiah Wynn, OL, Georgia I usually like to go BPA in round 1 but at this point I don’t think there’s a huge difference in BPA and the best player in a position of need. The Chargers really need help on the OL and have had a lot of setbacks with injuries. Wynn is a safe pick and can play multiple spots on the line. If everyone is healthy I’d expect Wynn to start out at C for the Chargers.
Bills trading away all their picks. No second or third now. Traded another to move up for Fitzpatrick.
