At pick 14, the Browns select Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame With Joe Thomas retiring, LT jumps right up behind QB as their biggest need. The options they have (Coleman, Johnson) aren't terribly encouraging at LT, so hopping up here is a good opportunity to lock down the position. McGlinchey could stand to add some strength, but he's a good athlete, has great form, and positive experiences in gap and zone schemes. He could likely start day one and can only benefit because Joe Thomas will be hanging around to help develop the offensive line.
Rosen gives me a vibe that he's a Fournette and doesn't want to play in the cold, unless it was for a big market like New York.
Welp. Option "trade up for McG" just ain't happening for Jacksonville haha. No way was I coming all the way up to the upper teens. If he fell to 19 I would have sent trade offers for 20-23.
Round 1, Pick 15 - The Indianapolis Colts Select, Joshua Jackson Indy's secondary lead the league in yards per attempt, and completions over 20 yards. Only Quincy Wilson was a positive player. Dipping into their 2nd round depth, they're able to get one of the best secondary prospects in the draft.
With the 16th overall pick, the Baltimore Ravens select Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville While we do have two qb’s on the roster right now, neither Flacco nor RG3 should be starting for us after this year. We need to plan for the future, and Jackson would give us a great dual threat. He’s underrated as a passer, and we can build our offense around him.
I'm just really excited to see where Lamar goes in general he'd be a neat storyline for a lot of teams.
