Sorry guys. Been out all night. Ravens are keeping the same pick as last time though. Jaylen Samuels, offensive hybrid, NC State
Los Angeles Chargers select Josey Jewell, MLB, Iowa The Chargers are currently rolling with a guy that was cut from the Jaguars mid-rebuild. Not good.
Carolina Panthers select Kyzir White, S, West Virginia Carolina has one of the worst secondaries in the league right now. James Bradberry has been a bright spot at corner but outside of him there isn't much to be excited about. The secondary is missing a playmaker. Someone who can give the unit some personality. Kyzir White could be that missing piece. He's also one of my favorite day 2 players in the draft. White's biggest strength is probably his run support ability. He diagnoses plays very quickly and takes great angles in his pursuit to the ball carrier. And once he gets there he brings the pain. A hard hitter without selling out for the big hit. He's also shown flashes of his ability to cover TEs and RBs in pass coverage, although this is likely the area he'll need to improve on most. Overall, he is a solid strong safety prospect and at worst he will be a day one special teams difference-maker.
At pick 81, the Browns select Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR, Indiana This was mostly depth at WR, but Cobbs could possibly grow into a helpful receiver. He's not super quick or a big separator, but he can move the change with his routes, awareness, and physicality. They've got some great WRs, but they could definitely use a big, red zone target like Cobbs.
