@EntryLevelDave @Swoos depending on Randall may still want to move up here. Preferably from 56 but also have 53
Jaguars select Mike Hughes, CB, UCF. I love this prospect. He is aggressive and a good tackler in the running game, he has good hand technique and footwork playing press, he can leap and high point when swatting the ball at the catch point. Dude stood out constantly at UCF and I see him as a smart player who takes coaching well and will just get better and better. Fills the slot / run support role Colvin left vacant, and if he really catches on he might allow us to shed Bouye's 12M/year CB2 contract when its time to resign Ramsey and Yannick. Also feels right to steal him from the Colts.
Round 2, Pick 49 - Colts select D.J. Chark The Colts used a first-round pick to help keep Luck standing. They use a 2nd round pick to give him a weapon alongside TY Hilton. Def some improvements needed, but LSU has a solid track record with WRs so I'm gonna bet on him making the adjustments he needs.
Understanding that a fifth is high in this deal, the Colts have a huge amount of cap space and their running game has been atrocious lol
REPOSTING WITH THE PICK ERROR FIXED The Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts have agreed on the rare intra-divisional trade because they're sick of the Jacksonville Jaguars already. Indianapolis trades: Pick #140 Houston trades: RB Lamar Miller, 2019 7th round pick
I think I can settle down with trades now, probably on Blimp's shit list right now for making him edit the front page so much. But trading Lamar Miller now that Kerryon Johnson and D'Onta Foreman are both present nets Houston a pick that has the opportunity to develop along with extra cap space to make free agent signings and extend key players like Jadeveon Clowney.
We'd likely have Sam Darnold and Dallas Goedert instead because we'd be picking at #1 without ever having Watson
