I was ready to trade up with EntryDave for 23 so I could steal Moore from @Swoos. Good thing he rejected it cause I didn't realize Ridley was on the board still lol
I really don’t think Ridley will fall to 24 but crazier things have happened. I’ve recently read the Panthers are really high on both him and Moore. If either are there I think that’ll be the pick.
Pick 30, Round 1 - Vikings select Connor Williams. Using draft capital to protect Cousins. Can start at RT or shift inside to a guard position where he may be better suited.
Pick 31 - New England Selects Kolton Miller. I’ll miss you Nate, but someone has gotta watch TB12’s back
Damn I was totally gonna move back up for Kolton or Connor. Damn you @EntryLevelDave for appropriating realistic value to offensive tackles lol
With the 32nd pick, the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles select TE | Mike Gesicki | Penn State Eagles have Zach Ertz at TE as someone they know they can rely on. They recently signed Richard Rodgers to a one year deal and they have 2017 UDFA Billy Brown that was with the team on the PS last year. Neither does much for me at this time. In 2017, they had three reliable TEs in Ertz, Celek, and Burton. They don’t have that anymore and so Gesicki is the pick as he will form a nice tandem with Ertz for a long time.
The Dallas Cowboys select Same pick, same story, it works for me. Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State University at 33.
The New York Giants select: Ronald Jones II - Running Back - Southern California Jones gives the Giants a true homerun threat at running back. He should be a nice complimentary back to Jonathan Stewart early on and then he can take the reigns further into the season.
New Orleans Saints select Justin Reid, S, Stanford Honestly an easy choice. First round talent at safety that slipped to round 2. He covers deep, he has range, he hits. Good at everything tbh. The Saints just let Vaccaro go, and even with him they've been bad in the back end FOREVER. I think Vonn Bell is better at chase and tackle than coverage, and I think Justin Reid is better in coverage coming out than his brother Eric was. Logical choice is to slide Bell to SS and put a real FS in Reid on the field.
