*** TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT *** Cardinals Trade: Picks 47 & 134 Bonercats Trade: Pick 44 Arizona Cardinals select Billy Price, OL, Ohio State The Cardinals roster is bad. Mostly, it's bad because there's no way to reasonably get this team to tank. Peterson, Jones, DJ, and Fitz are elite. Bradford, when healthy, is good. They've got some rising stars in Budda Baker and Ricky Seals-Jones but the weaknesses on their roster are glaring. Arizona seems destined to be stuck drafting in the 8-15 range for the length of David Johnson's career. The Cards bolster their offensive line with McGlinchey and Price and can safely move forward with some talent on their offensive line, making Bradford and DJ's life easier, and giving their future franchise QB room to breathe.
Thats a great pick Matt. Arizona with an offensive line... I haven't seen that EVER. Not with Carson Palmer, not with Kurt Warner, not with Matt Leinart, not with Jake Plummer....
I am so tempted to trade up for the Jags but I won't yet cause i still like several prospects on the board. Once one of my main two picks goes though... then I start looking at trades.
Damn Cards taking my guy...smh At No. 46 the Sin Sin Add He Bang Holes select Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama. The Bengals have solid but not great safeties, but they lack a play-making safety, ranking near the very bottom in terms of turnovers produced. Harrison adds a big-play ability to a secondary that sorely needs it, providing a spark next to veteran George Iloka.
At #47 in the second round the Washington Redskins Select: Sony Michel, RB, Georgia. Robert Kelly surely isn't the answer as he can't be depended on. The Redskins need a weapon on offense and Michel adds that, he and Chris Thompson should provide a nice 1-2 punch and give defenses headaches.
For a sec I thought this was still a Cards pick and thought "What the hell?!" and then I actually read the post closer hahaha. Good pick
Los Angeles Chargers select Dante Pettis, WR, Washington Allen and Williams on the outside with Pettis in the slot would be very threatening attack. Rivers is obviously in his final years so adding another weapon will help get the most out of him. The OL is still average at best but this pick will open things up for Gordon and the rest of the offense.
