I have like 5 copies of that record (in different variants) but none with gritty on it :(

 

So many of my friends who don't watch hockey were talking/posting about Gritty today. Hell, the showrunner for my favorite TV show spent most of the morning tweeting about it which blew my mind.

I wish the Blue Jackets had something cool like Gritty instead of Stinger. I'm kind of over Stinger and the team doesn't really feature him a ton. I get why they still have him around, but I'd be cool with Stinger being an additional mascot and then having a new primary one.

 

They need to bring back Boomer.

The Zack Smith stuff is so bizarre. I can’t tell if it’s just Ottawa being cheap or some sort of “warning shot” to the rest of the roster.

Either way that team literally has nothing to play for this year, and it’s equal parts sad and embarrassing
