picked up NHL 19 in hopes of doing a franchise / owner mode to get a better understanding of the game (worked for me with Madden when i was younger for better understanding football) and HOLY FUCK is it intimidating and confusing as hell. i love all the features and options but my god i have no idea what i'm doing. i may have shot myself in the foot with this idea.

 

I'd recommend turning off the ownership stuff and focusing on the GM side to start. It's pretty fun on its own without all of the added arena micromanaging. You'll be plenty busy with roster management and scouting.

 

I'm pulling so hard for Ennis to make the team. I've always loved this little dude.

 

Tyler Ennis? He was so fun to watch when he played in the WHL.
