just read that Vegas will be protected from the Seattle expansion draft (article is from March 2018 but just found it now). that is very interesting and i wonder what that does for Vegas in terms of FA the next two off-seasons knowing they won't have anyone get poached.

Might jump on the Athletic bandwagon with Eric Stephens joining their staff for the LA area

 

I’ve never cared for Stephens’ writing. It’s very bland and to the point. But I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Athletic and their kinds of articles so maybe I’ll give it a try.

 

I subscribed to The Athletic awhile ago and it’s been fantastic.

 

I've heard the athletic sports stuff is really good but like everything else is super awful

 

I’d say they have far more good content than bad. I probably read the hockey section less than most other sports, but they do have some good stuff on the draft prospects.

Their baseball writers are great. Easily their best section. They have some solid NFL and NBA guys too

 

I’ve beem debating getting The Athletic, @Swoos has sold me on it.

 

I like it for my Boston subscription. Good stuff and the shirt was a nice touch.
