I guess Skinner is a one year rental at this point, but you might as well just keep/extend him if that’s what’s coming back

 

Yeah Pu is not a top prospect, I would call his ceiling a mid-line winger. You probably want him on your 3rd line but won't kill you on your 2nd line.

Skinner had to waive his NMC to come to Buffalo so the team probably feels good about being able to keep him around

He may end up a little better than that, but not by much. He seems to have outperformed his draft spot (3rd round, I think #69 overall) and has flourished on the wing. But never would i have guessed he was the centerpiece of a trade bringing back Jeff Skinner

Yeah Buffalo did pretty well for themselves this offseason. I don’t think Boston is looking over their shoulder or anything, but if Hutton doesn’t turn back into a pumpkin, I think they give Florida some stiff competition for a WC spot

If Hutton knows how to hug a post he's a clear upgrade over Lehner. I don't worry about Hutton too much. I think he will start ~50-55 games with Linus Ullmark getting the rest, and if Ullmark continues developing it could flip by the end of his deal.
