the organization was operating at a yearly six figure loss by continuing the radio broadcasts so it’s less gross and more operating a business properly

 

They could've let him go without offering him a disgustingly low contract and I'm sure billionaire Tom dundon could still make a lot of money and keep a guy on the payroll even if they're going to lose money if he wanted. I understand why they did it but there are many ways to let someone go without it being insulting.

I don’t want it to seem like I’m actively defending the acts of any billionaire, fuck all of them. I’m just merely pointing out the reasons this came to pass. I worded my last post poorly, I was just trying to shed some light on the situation.

I’ve met Chuck and handful of times in my life, mostly as a child. He’s an incredibly pleasant and passionate man, with a love for the sport, team, and community.

 

Iginla is announcing his retirement with the Flames on the 30th.

Hey everyone, I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in a Deep Keeper Fantasy Hockey League that I am in (I'm not personally running it, though) needs quite a few more people...
