though I am on record stating that if Hall is not extended by the start of the season, he needs to be traded

damn. had 55 points last year. not too shabby. he's a UFA after next year, but for a fifth round pick, that's a good deal for sure imo

The Fourth Period reported Monday that Hall, who won the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP last season, is not interested at this time in signing an extension with the Devils.
