I don't get trading Kessel either. i've read all the scuttle around the team over the past couple seasons and it sounds like Malkin is the main one that isn't buying into it. Not Kessel. I know Rutherford has said he will be making changes but don't really see how this helps.

Sounds like Kessel has no desire to go to Minnesota anyway so could be why it's leaking out since he killed the deal.

 

Kessel having to google the Wild is probably my most favorite thing about this

 

That Brock Nelson contract is not great, with the cap rising it will probably be fine tho

 

Agreed, plus they couldn’t have afforded to let another top 9 center walk for nothing

 

Nelson is really overrated but he was gonna get no less than 4.5 from another team, regardless

 

It’s gonna be fun when that team comes crashing back to earth next year
