Another tidbit from camp I saw was Fox sharing a room with Drury, Canes second round pick. Both guys play for Harvard. I don’t know if little things like that help with signing Fox here but it can’t hurt.

Although, I’m honestly not too worried about Fox signing his ELC with Canes. I think that’s a story somewhat overblown by the Calgary media. Just like the Hamilton locker room issues.

Islanders fans on Twitter seem to have entered the coping and empathy stages of grief. A lot of “he’s gone I just know it” and “hurry up and tell us I don’t care anymore! Just go!” Posts on there the last 2-3 hours.

Last I read Friedman said reaves is going back to Vegas, after last year he definitely should

 

I think that the whispers of Fox not signing in Calgary actually had merit considering the traffic jam of defensive prospects and no guarantee that he would be on the team in a few years even if he was ready. It's similar to Toronto's forward prospect problem.

 

Fox is a trump supporter so Calgary won.

 

I hope that’s just another thing the Calgary media made up.
