never say never but gusev is already 26, bolts tried for years to get him to come and he's been on vgk for 2 years already. He'll probably arrive randomly as a free agent if he ever comes.

Has there been any precedent for the NHL banning players lifetime for domestic violence? My first thought was that the one-year suspension was a way to punish him without invoking the NHLPA's wrath.

But as bad as the NHL is, the teams that would even consider adding Voynov are infinitely worse.
