Caps swept Canes in the season series but I think we can play it close. I’d say a deep series but losing is realistic. Just happy to be here haha

 

The other teams I’ll be rooting for in the playoffs: Canes, Lightning, Sharks, Isles (b/c Trotz), and that’s about it.

i'm always amused when a team makes the playoffs and fans of other teams are all:

as if (in the case of hockey or basketball) 8 other fucking teams aren't also going to lose in the first round. christ, look how happy teams are to make March Madness as a 16-seed knowing their season ends right away 9999% of the time.

i'd much rather my team make the playoffs than miss it by a game, but no one said sports fans were logical.
