Saw that Hawks were in on Ward

 

Little bit of speculation that Alex Nylander is part of the Ryan O'Reilly trade package and that is why he is on the Sabres development camp roster, but as of yesterday was not dressed for camp with no explanation from the team.

Dev camp opened yesterday. Nylander is in the roster but isn't skating and the team is just like "Yep, he's not participating nothing to see here."

He has not been good in Rochester, I have heard he's been pouting about being in the bottom 6 there instead of working hard to get better. Not a Botterill pick either, was Tim Murray's last #1 so there's a chance he is moved

i just don't understand why anyone would take that deal unless it is at least 2 firsts or some damn good top tier prospects

Apparently Fox said he’d sign his ELC with Canes this year if the team thinks he’s ready for the pros (he’d go back to Harvard for his senior season otherwise). If he’s willing to sign I think it’d be smart to get it done now and let him develop in AHL.

 

If we trade Skinner and aren’t in on JvR, I think that’s a good indicator that Aho won’t be playing center.
