I’m finally coming to terms that the Kyle Turris experience in Nashville just (probably) isn’t working out.

 

I didn’t have sound but I can not understand how the OT goal in the pens/sabers game was onsides.

by my count, the Devils have 4 legitimate NHL forwards in the lineup tonight out of 12 forward spots (HIschier, Bratt, Zajac, Coleman)

3 of the rookies/call ups got hurt tonight

they are going to have to call up ECHLers to play out the season at this point

can this season please just end

 

Sabres have played 64 games with 4 legitimate NHL forwards, you get no sympathy

 

I guess the NHL explanation is that because Dahlin had control/possession of the puck the whole time it's okay that his skates entered before the puck did? I don't know. I feel like the Sabres may have had a ruling against them earlier this season using the same logic

I'm confused. "Potvin sucks!" is a Rags chant, not Isles. I can extra assure this from going to many games at MSG and having people yell this at me in my (Felix) Potvin jersey both on the train and at the Garden.

As for Isles fans... hoo boy. I was born on LI and raised an Isles fan. I adopted the Leafs in the early 90's when Potvin was coming up and my goalie perversion was blossoming. I was doomed as a hockey fan regardless.

So I hear both sides of the Tavares drama. I get the "he said not to trade him" hate, because I felt the same about Sundin. Except Sundin wouldn't waive a NTC. Tavares said not to trade him, but could be traded. Garth Snow was a coward to the fan base, and didn't trade him because he thought he could re-sign him. But the 7+ months of him refusing to sign an extension wasn't a hint?

Then the fan base gets angry because Tavares didn't want to re-up with a team that wouldn't provide him with a good coach, a promising team, or a permanent place to play home games. Also Isles fans not knowing the difference between a bedding set and pajamas... okay.

This whole drama is like having to pick a parent to live with after a divorce. Except the one parent who was really there for me as a tiny child is acting like a dickhead, and all their relatives seem legit dumb.

End post. Sorry about that blabbering, I probably won't post again for three weeks to make up for it.
