I think it’s possible that as we inch closer to the deadline, there may be a trade or two that make people wonder why NY / DET settled on such light returns for their guys, but I get why they did it. There’s so many guys available this year, and only so many draft picks to acquire. Those two teams didn’t want to leave empty handed with a UFA and no compensation.
