Oh man, my friend who loves Hagelin and hates the Caps is in for a surprise when she checks her phone after work.

 

would the Caps look to bring Hagelin back next year? trading a 3rd and a 6th to borrow someone for 4-5 months seems kind of steep, but not sure how valuable those picks would be since Washington will be picking late in the rounds.

They're super high on him - they won't move him. At least I'd be shocked if they did for a rental. He and Thomas are about as untouchable prospect wise as they come for the Blues. I read that for the ROR trade that those two were non starters for him, so I'd doubt that they'd do it for a rental.
