The Leafs doomed themselves in the first period. Their MO seems to usually be "get outplayed and outshot to perverse levels in the first, be tied or down by a goal, then cool it down in the second and win late in the second or in the third".

I don't love being happy for the consolation point, but the fact that they didn't roll over and die in the third was kind of surprising.
