Probably not fired this year, but possibly next year depending on what Minny can do in the offseason / how they play and then Seattle goes after him because of his history. Do not like that idea.

on the NHL shop website, for the jerseys that are listed under "authentic" (usually around $250) are these actually what the players wear on the ice? are these as close to the real jerseys as possible? is there a better site to get authentic / real jerseys?

yes, those are the "authentics"

definitely don't use NHL.com. Icejerseys and coolhockey are my 2 go-tos. They have sales all the time where they will authentically stitch the "replica" jerseys for under $200. I think thats a way better deal.

at the end of the Flyers game Larkin was trying to stop an empty netter and tripped the Flyer and Larkin's neck was like on top of the Flyers skates. maybe a different angle would show there was more distance or something but from the TV angle it looked super close and i legit winced because then Larkin stayed face down and i thought it was because he was cut

The authentics are close to game quality but not quite there. The most notable difference is the logo and the patches and also the authentics have a fight strap. I bought my first authentic this season and it’s super nice. Probably only going to buy authentics from here on out.

 

didn't catch much of the Ducks Capitals game, but may have to go back and watch it based on some of the tweets that the Ducks official Twitter account sent out and Capitals podcasts are LIVID about whatever Cory Perry did to Oshie and others.

Just be aware that any authentic jersey you buy on the retail side will not be the same as the authentic jersey the players wear on the ice. The retail ones are Indonesian made; they are still a nice quality and way cheaper price than what Reebok use to sell theirs at.

The ones the players wear are made in Canada. The material between the two is slightly different. They have the same features, but everything about the Canadian ones is an improvement. You’d have to find a used/issued one directly from a team to get one of those.
