Last night, maybe 9 minutes in to the first period, the Panthers fan next to me asked his wife "why did we bother coming to this?" and I felt so bad for laughing.

Nope, just someone who travels a lot and tries to hit up games if it fits in to my schedule. I used to be a Lightning season ticket holder but decided my money would be better spent trying to attend at least one game in every NHL arena.

Have you done Buffalo yet? I'll be honest the arena itself kinda sucks but at least the Pegulas have started improving the surrounding area so it's not in the middle of nowhere like it used to be.

Not yet but hopefully next season so I can try to do a Beauts and Sabres weekend trip. A local comic author I follow, who did a book on the NWHL, recently moved to Buffalo and raves about how great it is there so she convinced me I need to check it out.
