I hope Laine keeps fortniting so we can get him for cheap.

 

I saw him play live probably 15-20 times during his time in juniors over here in Washington State and he's just so cool/calm and collected. Never panics. Which makes it even more strange because he wasn't that great in his short time with the Phantoms (Philly's AHL team). But since coming up to the Flyers, he's been lights out for the most part.

Like I told Brandon last night, they're obviously playing themselves out of a Top 5 draft spot but if that means that Philly FINALLY has a god damn goalie then that is a small small price to pay.

Add into the fact they're shedding shit contracts like Jori Lehtera (4.7M lmao) after this year and AMac (5M) after 2020 and are likely going to be in the mix to hire Q and you finally are maybe starting to see an end to the "three years away from being three years away" view that has been the feel for as long as I can remember.

 

I mean, it's freezing up there what else can he do? Haha
