Oh gosh, I remember when sprong was a noteworthy prospect

 

got an alert that Chuck Fletcher is the new Flyers GM but nothing on their Twitter page says this

 

Seeing as how we turned Aberg into a scoring god maybe we can do the same for Sprong

 

that brief period where sprong was so hyped was great

 

Probably why they just trade 1st round picks for Ryan reaves nowadays

Sprong is a good player and the Ducks usually make something out of these fringe wingers every season. I wasn't sure if there was a spot in the lineup for him now that Silfverberg's back but they still have something called a "Kiefer Sherwood" playing on their fourth line so I guess there's still room.
