I think I’d rather have an extremely nice and religious guy on my squad than an aggressive and bro culture MAGA loser.

Slavin has been nothing short of a class act, on and off the ice, since breaking through a few years ago. The guy is as pleasant as can be, and will be wearing a letter for this team sooner or later.

Now of course, all it takes is for him to come out publically spewing awful takes that are unfortunately so often tied to christianity. I can appreciate the skepticism in regards to overtly religious stuff, and am normally a skeptic myself, but I think a guy like Slavin certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt.
