Any combo of Pitt, LA, or Chicago getting Hughes is the worst timeline

The most equitable solution is for Hughes to go to the Oilers, that way he'll have no impact on the rest of the league

i immediately picture two teams like bickering divorced parents.

    "how did he get hurt?!?!?"

"he was playing, Detroit, god, he's a kid! it's gonna happen!"

"no! that's bullshit, Chicago! you weren't watching him were you? he was left on his shift too long!"

"dammit Detroit, don't start with me! i know when he's tired or not, it was a fluke!"

"well, it certainly seems like 'flukes' don't happen around here!"

"just make sure he isn't hit by an octopus or whatever it is you people do up there."

Just gonna point out that when Pitt and Chicago were drafting kane, Malkin, Fleury, Crosby, etc in the first round...the rangers drafted Hugh Jessiman

    Let us have something!

Instead of all star just lineup all the owners and kick them in the ding ding

It's totally a YMMV situation, but there were a lot of red flag, eyebrow-raising quotes that triggered personal flashbacks for me

Jesus christ, Carolina has 29 shots in the first period, and somehow the Leafs are only down by one...

The disappointing thing is if that was any other team getting 29 shots in a period, it would turn the game into a must-watch gongshow, but given that it's the Canes, I already know it's going to be a 4-3 OT victory for the Leafs or something
