Ghost is signed through 22-23. I think they need to capitalize on the value Wayne Simmonds has now with his last year of his deal coming up on the cheap and move him since I can't imagine they're going to have a major itch to give him 6-7AAV after next season.

But yeah, they need to add on the wing for sure but everything I've read for the most part has them putting more interest into the defensemen market which seems weird to me but whatever.

 

Oh yeaaa, forgot they already extended Ghost. I agree with Simmonds too, even though I absolutely love him. Time to move on while he has value.

Interest in the defensemen market seems super weird to me too. I always feel like we don't have enough firepower. I'd love to see them snag some speedy, shooting wingers.

 

Improved? Extremely unlikely, but I’ll grant the possibility. Who knows what shit can happen in this weird ass sport.

No UFA is going to go there given the events of the past year, and they’re selling off their big name players

 

Washington has a brutal schedule in February and March and Vegas is away 5 of their first 6 games to start the season. So happy next season is getting started here
