Guess who leads the league in even-strength goals?
Yes it’s the Habs, who everyone (myself included) thought would have a hard time scoring.

    Their PP is atrocious though.

Ya as of now it looks like the Habs won the Domi trade.

Definitely. Even if Galchenyuk will end up scoring 40 goals for Arizona, I will still like that trade from a Habs perspective. Domi brings so much energy to this team, which Galchenyuk and Pacioretty sorely lacked.

If only a seventh round pick were thrown in. Oh well, strome is hot garbage, this helps the tank.

Spooner deserves better than the oilers though.

Every piece of social media content the Oilers release now (which compared to more well-run franchises, isn't much) is going to trigger waves of trade rumours, which is a level of incompetence I hadn't even considered before today

I love when trades happen because as a new fan of the sport I see everyone make sarcastic remarks that don’t make sense to me and then I get to do some research and go down fun rabbit holes to catch up and then laugh at the jokes

(Being serious here, this is fun for me)

one day we had 2 of the biggest trades in the league happen and one trade involved oilers

Somewhere in Montreal there's a pundit claiming they won the subban trade.

The news breaking of Stamkos signing basically being met with "Oh, okay cool" sums up that day. It might be the most concentrated day of fun, drama, and wildness in the NHL since I don't even know when.

I'm sure that day was not fun for the approximately 32 people that combine to make up the "Realistic Habs Fans" and "Oilers Fans Who Realize That McDavid Can Not Score The Necessary 8 Goals Per Game To Make This Franchise A Cup Contender" groups.

The Bruins are on their 12th defenseman of the year and somehow gave up one goal last night. Impressive

Also Chara out 4-6 weeks :))))

Buffalo has been extremely impressive so far on this brutal stretch. Only giving up one goal a piece to Tampa Bay and Winnipeg is something not a lot of teams could do in consecutive games.
