I'm a Rangers fan, and no sane Rangers fan thinks Kevin Hayes is that good

 

You haven't been on capfriendly or Twitter much then, I've seen some preposterous glorification of that guy

 

He got a lot better last year, so I think there's a bunch of projections going on there too. I mean listen, he's a good possession guy and he's got a nice skills et. If we could flip him for something good, i'll be stoked about it. But if I were another NHL team I would want a lot more than Hayes in any package.

 

Yea, I'm not saying he isn't good but he isn't getting you Erik Karlsson or anyone of that stature

 

I really hope the Rangers don't go down that road anyway. There's plenty of talent in the system right now and some great draft opportunities. Given NYR history I always get nervous this time of year that they will abandon ship and try to execute a impromptu re-tool by trading assets for a veteran. Hoping this time is different.

 

The outdoor games on NHL19 look awesome but until they repair some glaring, awful gameplay issues it will still be an incredibly frustrating game for me to play.
