The laundry list of excuses I've heard so far:
-end of the road trip fatigue

My belief: they're intimidated by how sweet those Kachina jerseys are

 

Really loving the Habs this year. I was prepared for a dire tank year with no offence whatsoever, but they are playing pretty good and with no quit.
It also looks like both the Pacioretty and the Galchenyuk trade might turn into something great.

at the 10 games played mark 6 of the 8 Central teams have more points than any team in the Central. and if Dallas wins their 10th game of the season, then at least team 7 would tie the Pacific leader with 12 points. the Central really is gonna be a fucking gauntlet.

Actually I wouldn’t mind, seeing how the draft lottery is a crapshoot really. Kotkaniemi, Domi and Poehling at C should be solid, so they are not desperate for Hughes I guess. Just need to get rid of Alzner and Shaw somehow though.
