I need to plan a trip to Seattle just to walk around in my soon-to-be-owned Sherman 49ers jersey

    I'm good with 6'2" 210, jumps 41.5" up and 11'3" forward, 4.4 flat / 4.18 / 6.94

I had to look after Anthony posted his. Not quite the Byron Jones workout warrior... But still, Ramsey's package is insane haha. So much range on a dude that's also built to be physical.

If Sherm can forgive me for my negative tweets directed at him over the years, I can forgive this.

Not only did he know what he was worth, he negotiated the deal himself. There's probably a "Fuck Seattle" clause somewhere in there

Sherman is gonna resurge. Be a skeptic if you want to... but you're gonna get shown up by an extremely scrappy and tenacious player, who wants to prove Seattle missed out, and prove he can elevate a team that isn't stacked around him.

He still has a legacy to lay down, I'm sure he wants to stamp out the narrative that it was the rest of Seattle D that made him dominant rather than personal contribution. Falling off at age 30 after his first major injury is something I just dont see Richard Sherman doing. He is too confident and has too big a chip on his shoulder to go out like that.

Thats the benefit of players who didn't rely on their athleticism - they stay good in their early 30s because they know how to set themselves up ahead of time to compensate for the loss in speed. He's always been adept at predicting where the QB will place the ball ahead of time, and finding the quickest path to the catch point without any wasted steps... so he doesnt need recovery speed as desperately as a lot of CBs do. His instincts could very well help him last like Terrance Newman did.
