What’s your $.02 on Dak?

 

I think we saw his ceiling in 2016. He’s very careful with the ball and can put up efficient numbers that compliment a great run-first offense.

Today was the first game in ten or so games that he played as well as he did before getting shell shocked in the Falcons game last year. He was constantly calling out protections and audibles at the line and our offense looked fantastic because of it. He had two pinpoint accurate deep throws as well, which is great.

I know he’s capable of playing well like he did today, he just needs to be more consistent and less afraid of getting hit in the pocket.

 

Bell is still the best back in the NFL

Lot of y’all are underrating how important it is that he’s an excellent pass blocker. He’s not just “good”. He is well ahead of the curve in pass pro for a runningback. He has more length and weight than most RBs at 6’2” 230 and he really knows how to use it. He’s also very ballsy, he seeks he contact and is never afraid to convert speed to power, and lay a POP on a guy 50 lbs heavier. While he’s a patient runner, Bell is an aggressive blocker.

And honestly despite both Gurley and Kamara getting a crazy amount of receptions and opportunities in the passing game... Bell has better hands and ball skills than both of them and it’s not close. Bell will literally make leaping catches in traffic, pull the ball away from defenders’ hands, tap his toes on the sideline; etc like a starting WR.

 

Right now in the NFL:
1) Bell
2) Gurley
3) Kamara
4) Elliott
5) Barkley

I would have put DJ at 5 but he doesn’t look “back” yet from injury.

I know it seems early to crown Barkley and Kamara but damn, they’re just so good haha. Those two have the most “moves” and are the most elusive.

It's nuts that the Bucs have won at all.

 

In each Bears game Mitch Trubisky's favorite team has won

 

The bears could finish 10-6 and then lose by 20 in the playoffs
