Why does it matter what time the tests are done?

 

I just think of it as "oh that's annoying". You're pretty much right. But man airports are stressful to get in and out of already, I'd hate to throw in a pee test right when you think you're homeward bound.

 

It's pretty fucked they have to do it that late after a game to be honest. In Tennis they always mail them to the players home randomly, that's fucked as well. I don't know, sports are pretty shitty when they think it's the right time to drug test you.

 

Eh, tests are random for a reason and they’re getting private plane rides. It’s not like they’re riding coach.

 

NFL is honestly the one sport where I almost feel sympathy when someone isn't on PEDs because of how much damage their bodies are constantly sustaining, obviously we don't know what the effects will be later on in their lives yet and maybe that'll be really horrible and no one should take them tho so idk

 

It's still at like 2am, that game didn't end till almost 12 and they probably didn't at least leave for another hour or more. Hopefully the lockout changes shit

 

Sure but normal jobs or jobs that I've had would let me know when I'm subject to a drug test or gave it to me at the work place that morning. Not sure why they can't wait until the players are at the team facility.

 

It'd be funny if like, on one day where players knew drug tests would be coming, EVERY player took PEDs together, just to see how the league would react to it

 

I have a feeling Jamal Adams is gonna help get Bowles fired, he's been saying things since last season that clearly don't favor Todd

Certain things I'm more of stop complaining because they are getting a generous wage to play a sport. In this instance I'm not because if I was a player I'd find it pretty insulting that I'd have to do it that late after the game.

 

I'm just like...the Steelers play in primetime next week hahaha. Imagine if the ENTIRE STEELERS TEAM had taken PEDs. I don't think the league would suspend the entire team right before a primetime game.

 

In certain cases I think old white men just don't know that much about how PEDs work and think it'll kick in immediately or some shit cause they're all 60yr old virgins

 

I think all the coaches should take PEDs too

 

I just have a hard time listening to people complain who make more from one game that 95% of people on the planet make in a year. Especially when it’s terms they agreed to in the last NFLPA holdout or whatever.

I’m super cycnical though, so feel free to ignore me on this one.

 

Idkkkkkk, I mean we've seen evidence they don't care as much about the players as much as they care about their uniform. Maybe they'd be generous and only suspend half the players and keep watt, boswell, Ben and some other peeps eligible

Yea but like you do realize that the 5% you're talking about are 100x more horrible people and you should be favoring the athletes over them... right?

 

Yeah, they don't care about the players, but they definitely care about those primetime ratings. So yeah I'd see them doing what you're saying, keep their "stars" (especially white stars) active.
