Donte Jackson is legit. I knew he was fast based on his combine and what I saw of him in college. But I had no idea he played so physical. He is one of the better tackling CBs I’ve seen in awhile. You can tell he’s still a little raw but he definitely has elite potential.

i think he grew up in Texas / grew up a Cowboys fan. and it seems like if you grew up a Cowboys fan then it doesn't matter how shitty the team can be, putting on a Cowboys uniform and wearing "the star" is like, the pinnacle of life for those people.

 

i really wonder if a new era of free agency / looking ahead is upon us. Bell and Thomas protecting their bodies for their next contracts so they can cash in on a major payday. not saying it's wrong on their part, professional football is a very limited time of most players lives, so if they think this will work for them (and it likely will) all the power to them.

 

This will be a normal thing until the next CBA which will more than likely result in a lockout first.
