I feel like it was 100% coach speak. At the same time he called it Baker's coming out party. I'm not a Hue fan, but I'm pretty sure he is just giving a veteran like Tyrod the respect of not making the announcement without talking to him and Baker in person. Plus, it's very possible with Tyrod in the concussion protocol that he is not even on the active roster next week. I understand how the comments came off, but I'd expect an announcement by Monday that Baker is starting against Oakland.
