Idk how I feel about Stephen but I love Will McClay. I know the Texans wanted to interview him for our GM vacancy and he rejected it.

 

I'm born and raised here, so I couldn't imagine not being a fan at this point.

 

From what I understand, Stephen and Will are both equally in charge of scouting, talent, contracts, etc... and they're almost always team friendly and work out well for the players as well.

 

I am too hahaha but I also definitely grew in more of a college football family than a NFL family, I just happened to be the one with NFL interest

Dad was an Aggie, mom went to UGA and married a Bama guy. Back when they were married they watched college football a ton and saved NFL football for mainly the Super Bowl/playoffs. But I loved the NFL so I watched a ton without em.

 

I wish I could quit the Lions

 

That's the thing, I like the team's scouting a ton, just not sure how I feel about their contracts or ability to negotiate

It's early with the current talent pool they have so we'll see, I don't dislike em or anything but I wanna see more and get enough evidence to make a claim

Our family doesn't have much college history in it anywhere really, so I never got into college football and still can't get into it. NFL only all the way.

 

I'm trying to get into it more now and so far I'm having a hard time with it, it's so sloppy (and I watch the Texans so I'm used to sloppy)

I'm not going to defend Tomlin's teams' discipline, because that's pretty well documented.
But the guy is 14th all-time in win percentage (for coaches with at least 50 wins). 64.5% win percentage. He also has two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. Not too shabby if you ask me.
