Romo would get smacked down/picked off because he was having to throw in 1 second or roll out, his first throw was a pick, his center would constantly snap the ball over his head, most of his picks were deflections because of how shit his line was. He faced a lot of the things Watson has faced and recency bias make people forget that.

But also Deshaun Watson with Zeke and that o-line/defense would win the Super Bowl and not taking him over Dak is moronic as hell because that's a completely perfect scenario for Watson. I didn't wanna have that bad debate but since it got started might as well say it.

 

And I LOVE Dak Prescott

 

The Jags have had two playoff wins this year.

Bortles > Romo

 

I've watched every game of Romo's career, I know how amazing he was at taking a 3 win team to 8-8 and putting them in playoff contention year in and year out.

Watson might end up being better than Dak, but he's only played half a seasons worth of games and has only looked good/great in 5 or 6, tops. Also, our offensive line is not that great right now. They might be average. They're better than what Houston has, but Martin is the only above average player on it right now with everyone else playing injured or out with a rare disease or are just straight up below average in general.

 

Steelers are having a rough start this year in the drama department

 

All that being said, I like the Texans and as long as it doesn't hurt us, I love seeing them do well, so I hope Watson pans out in the long term.

 

Hear hear, I hope Prescott does too. Loved him at Mississippi State and as soon as y'all drafted him I had high hopes for him.

Jerry Jones mainly, just got sick of him and feeling like there was never gonna be an actual change in management

I know Stephen and Will McClay do most of the GM work but it still felt like it was gonna be internal forever and I didn't wanna be stuck with the Jones family forever and feeling like nothing would change

I switched during 2012, my first season with the Texans was the 2013 2-14 year

 

Jerry himself is annoying as hell, but I'm still a fan of Stephen and Will.

Now if they would only get rid of Garrett, that's my dream.

 

Also though I just didn't feel that attached to the Cowboys when I was a fan, and I DEFINITELY feel attached to the Texans to the point where I probably do need to go to therapy
