As a Browns fan, I am VERY much enjoying all the Steelers turmoil this season.

 

How long until the Patriots acquire him for a mid round pick

His contract is basically untradeable this year so he's not going anywhere but I'd say you could start the Mike Tomlin to USC rumors here in the next 3-4 weeks or so.

Wildly disagree. His teams are always incredibly undisciplined and predictable.

 

Tomlin is a top tier coach because coaching in the NFL as a whole is a huge problem lol

 

Tomlin is a good coach but he also has an elite-ish QB, the #1 RB, the #1 WR, a good O and D line, and has very little to actually show for it. He's good but clearly talent isn't the issue on this team.

 

Easy to say when you have the best coach in the history of football and have to beat that team to get in the suPerbowl every year

 

Tomlin has faced the Pats in the playoffs once in his career.

 

I mean...true...but still.

Who is the second best coach in the NFL? You could probably rattle off 8 options or something like that. The gap between Bill and the rest of the league is huge, and the second tier is cluttered with guys who all have major flaws.


Except for McVay. He's perfect.

 

The steelers secondary stinks, idk what coach can suddenly make them not stink all while every other facet of the team has been decent to good. Like if you fire tomlin for that one flaw where he wins despite it every year, that's a really hard thing to do

 

They need new management as well. But also, Tomlin "wins despite it" because he has the most talented offense in the NFL.

Exactly and if you bring in someone new how do you know they'll continue? Like you're not gonna bring back the same staff, more likely than not. It's a big dice roll
