Dak had more rushing yards (45 yards on 7 carries) than Barkley (28 yards on 11 carries) last night.

You keep blaming Bortles for Chark but a lot of it really is Chark. He’s not ready. I like his potential too but you gotta admit that I may have been right that he’s still more of an athlete than a reliable wide receiver right now. He just looks confused on the field a lot right now. Bortles is very inconsistent but that’s going to be exaggerated with receivers who are unpredictable.

Cole is actually good. Dede, eh, lot of teams have a Dede. Phillip Dorsett is a better Dede.

 

Chark is at fault for the fumble 100 percent but all his other targets were Bortles setting him up to get nailed. I'm honestly surprised Chark didn't get hurt in that game. He's definitely still very raw but Bortles isn't helping that with the looks he's giving Chark.

Dorsett didn't score the game clinching TD. Also, if Dorsett was a better Dede, he'd still be with the team that drafted him.

 

The Eagles traded up to pick Goedert and rejuvenated Gibson in the preseason, and they have been throwing to Kamar Aiken, who wasn't on the team a week ago, and Kendrick Perkins. They need more talent but idk what else is going on

 

What's going on is Corey Clement is about to steal the starting job from Jay Ajayi.

 

I'm totally down for that. Just grabbed him in fantasy.

That’s also Chark not knowing when to sit down between zones, or adjust the angle of his routes based on the situation though. He also never seems ready for the ball when it comes his way. He had two consecutive drops on like 7 yard passes in the third preseason game.

Patriots just lost him in the flat and got blocked downfield on that 60 yard play. Dede makes nice adjustments to some passes but ehh, his size limits him, and Bortles is forced to throw it low into the bread basket rather than high pointing the ball like he’s used to.

Our receiving corps still needs Cole to step up and have games like that somewhat often, because otherwise we barely have any WR2 let alone WR1

 

Yeah, absolutely. Garrett rarely ever adjusts at halftime and Linehan calls some of the most bland plays ever.

Our defense is looking great, but our offense looks average to bad. We only have 2 or 3 above average players on offense right now, but a good offensive coordinator and/or head coach should be able to draw up plays to take what's there and elevate them, but they're unable to do that.
