Man, your receiving corps dealing with all of that plus Peters' injury, which doesn't sound serious but who knows, is going to make it super tough on Foles to overcome.

 

Agreed. Thought Foles could at least hold down the fort, but our offense has looked brutal so far. Hoping Wentz is back next week.

 

It will be interesting to see Wentz play again with average to below average receivers and see if it was truly him playing at an MVP level himself or if the team surrounding him was just that good last year.

 

Patriots don’t really have a pass rusher though. I mean Trey Flowers is a good overall player but he’s not that scary coming off the edge. Remember last year James Harrison is the reason they got in the backfield.

I like Wells run blocking. But I’m not looking forward to seeing him get owned by the better DE / 3-4 OLB we go up against.

I’m also mostly worried about Cam continuing to improve cause we really need him long term

 

Now we just need to look for a new coach.

I’m not gonna harshly judge his first few games back. I think he is a great decision maker and he will be fine tbh

 

We have the same WR core except for Torrie Smith, which in my opinion isn't really a loss. We should have Jeffery back, along with Agholor.

 

Sure, if Jeffery is back and healthy, it shouldn't be much of a change. I was referring to if he's not back or he's hampered by his injury, as well as Wentz being rusty.

 

I can’t believe Blake fucking Bortles just out-passed Tom Brady, with just as bad of a receiving corps, and with a missing runningback and left tackle.

Like the defensive performance? I live for that shit. I expected us to hold the Pats to 20 points. But Bortles surpassed my wildest imagination.

Tbh, I wouldn't say just as bad. Cole/Dede are actually good plus Moncrief and ASJ have their roles, Paul is our new Lewis, in the sense that opponents just don't cover him for some reason, and Chark will eventually develop and hopefully that coincides with Bortles not giving him shitty throws.
