So what you’re saying is, 5 to 7 losses is more realistic of a projection than 6 to 9 losses? And that projecting 9 might be... too... pessimistic?

If Fournette plays I really like our chances. We don’t play in Gilette and the Patriots are literally desperate for receivers right now.

Gronk will probably ball but I do trust my Jags D to stop the bleeding, and if the past is any indication, Bortles seems to get his body possessed by an actual starting QB when we play good teams.

The Patriots have always been good, but I dare them to do it again, in our weather, without obvious help from the refs. Really think you would’ve won the AFCCG anyway? Alright, we’ll see.

I was scared of this matchup before this week but right now I’m just like. Bring it!

Fuck us. We will never have good guards consistently

 

Not as good as we should be. We have the athleticism in our LB and SS to cover them man to man, but we tend to lose them in zone.

Barry Church thru preseason and week 1 has made a big difference in this area though. Really knows how to come downhill FAST, and has great aim leaping over guys and swatting the ball so far. So I’m hoping we will put him and Telvin on Gronk in bracket coverage, and it’ll be better this year.

 

I'll be starting Gronk regardless, but this gives me a little more hope he'll have an above average game.

Ben got his terrible game out of the way and the defense is better (at least it looks better) than it was last year. And Blake Bortles will regress to his mean.

 

No Bell is a big deal. He scored two very important touchdowns that kept the game at least in reach in the playoffs. Brown is Brown and he will like, fuckin, cheat code / glitch the game and catch the ball through 3 people sometimes, but he can’t beat us by himself.

Who do the Steelers need to cover? The Jags don't have any wide receivers.

 

I love your new offense. And yeah Bortles sucks and will probably do some piddly shit and throw for 170 yards 1 INT and one easy misdirection TD that was schemed in. But it’s not about him.

Steelers also have not shown me they can even attempt to slow Fournette down haha. He erupted and scored long TD in both games

You barely need to pass when you can run, as a team, for 175-200 / 2 TD

 

If Fournette is healthy.

Also, Cole, Westbrook, and Chark are good.

 

I think it benefits the Steelers to play the jags later in the year. If they were playing this week, I wouldn't be as confident.

Also, the Steelers might only win 5 games this year so who knows.

 

We also didn’t have receivers last year, mind you. ARob and Hurns both missed a lot of time and Lee really isn’t that much better than Dede and Cole.
