Also, TJ Watt had 4 sacks against the Browns. The Steelers had 7 total.

Too bad Ben had FIVE turnovers by himself.

 

Also, Tyrod Taylor was 15 of 40.

Colts week 1 takeaways:

1) Andrew Luck is back
2) Andrew Luck won’t be back for long if he gets beat up like he did last game
3) None of the things that were problems last year (not great o-line play, QB holding the ball too long, falling apart in the second half) seem to be fixed

 

I'm personally very surprised that adding the least valuable position on the line didn't drastically change the Colts.

 

Fingers crossed that getting Castonzo back makes a big difference

 

Yesterday made me a lot more confident in our schedule as a whole. Titans x2, Texans x2, Colts x2, Dolphins, Bills, and Steeler. But man I'm not confident in facing the Patriots, Chiefs, Eagles, and Washington.

I was happy to have Baker sit on the bench all season behind Tyrod - and it's obviously still early - but if Tyrod plays like he did yesterday in Week 2 and 3, I think they need to make the change by Week 4.

Browns wasted a masterful defensive performance at home and still couldn't beat a team who turned it over six times, many of them in Browns territory. Tyrod missed his target badly at least a dozen times - three throws would have been TDs if he didn't underthrow them (one to Landry, Gordon and Njoku) and many of the times, he had a receiver open and just chose to...not throw it.

Obviously, the weather was brutal, so that's why I'm giving him a few more weeks.

 

It's Week 8. I'd hope he'd be back.
