Pats usually come out slow the first week or two of the season. Houston by 10 and everyone loses their marbles until the Pats win 6 straight per usual.

Deshaun Watson in both my leagues makes me so happy. And I got the Hopkins combo going as well. LETSSSSS GO

the paragraph below articulates beautifully why as much as i love football (or in this case, the NFL - college doesn't quite have this issue yet) i can barely live in the moment and enjoy it anymore. basketball and hockey don't have these types of issues which keeps the games entertaining, but the nfl has slowly been ruining and nitpicking everything. the paragraph below is from an article about the absurd roughing the passer penalty on Jarrett last night:

"There are plenty of things to complain about when it comes to the experience of watching football, but the thing that keeps getting worse every season is how difficult it is to enjoy displays of athletic greatness in the moment. You see a brilliant catch along the sideline and you want to holler and high five someone, but was it really a catch? Is the cool thing you just saw actually not cool at all because the tip of the ball, like, jostled slightly in the receiver’s hands? Please wait five minutes while various slo-mo replays play out on screen to find out."

If the Texans win it's only going to piss Brady and company off. We all know what happens when that happens.

I need the Texans to lose this. But I need them to lose a shootout

As long as it's 57-40, sure. I've got Watson, Hopkins, and Fuller in various leagues including DraftKings.

I hope it's a great game and it would be cool for the Texans to win, but I just can't bet against Brady and Belichick ever.

I'm sure some have already seen his but fuck I'm slightly nervous for Tyrod .. UDFA, first-round talent, off-field issues. Had some upside in preseason games.

"The thing with Eli Manning and the Pats is, Brady and BB can get inside anyone's head but that doesn't fucking matter if there's nothing inside."

    First-round talent!? Whoa there hahaha.

Also, you guys drafted Austin Corbett to play left tackle. The Browns fans deserve success but it's stuff like that that makes me think the organization doesn't deserve success haha

I had the chance to go Watson and Hopkins. But Wilson was still on the board, and I think we ain't done seeing how much that dude can carry a team when they need to score a lot to win. Plus Wilson avoids injury somehow, knock on wood.

First-round talent is just what I've read from the scouts who have been telling the beat writers... Remains to be seen.

Not sure wtf is up with Corbett. Waste of a pick so far.

Yeah I don't know about that at all haha.

Corbett was such a bad pick haha. Browns did good by Browns standards but they could've (and should've) had the best draft. Colts too.

that's literally more than we paid Dareus to do that AND offer disruption as a 3-technique in some packages as well. About the same in AAV but way more guaranteed. And I still want to cut Dareus because of that allegation. Goldman doesnt have that kind of versatility, does he?
