Is there really a hazard to play with lightning in the area? Has anything happened or been a close call or have they always played it safe? (Not saying they shouldn’t play it safe, just curious if anything made the protocol what it is)

 

They do have 70,000 fans to think about and lightning strikes aren't exactly predictable

Cris Collinsworth is a bandwagonning SOB. I'll never forget his commentary during last year's Super Bowl.

 

It's always hard to keep up because the sound system delays it weird. I'm sure everyone's drunk though :)
