I know he's busting his ass to get back to full form. He is not the player that gets discouraged / lets the pain hinder him and doesn't recover all the way. That dude has iron willpower and that ANGRY competitiveness about him, which is the main reason we drafted him and the main reason he makes so many physical catches. And I feel like if we bet against his recovery we WILL regret it.

I doubt he's retiring at 30. Possible but I doubt it. He's owed 13.2M this year and only 2.2M of that is dead cap. I bet he was traded. UFA in 2019 and will probably command a new deal sooner rather than later, especially if he's moved.
