I'm always a year too early on some of these guys, I dropped drake late in his rookie year and drafted foreman last year but dropped him, so he'll probably breakout at some point this season

 

One of my work leagues has no prize / pay in so I’m gonna go all rookies for that one because why not

This is a good post

 

Newly Impressive:
-Barry Church. Man when we signed him I had no idea he would actually become this good and well rounded. He can do it all.
-Tyler Patmon in nickel. He might be just as good as Hayden, though neither guy is Colvin :,(
-Leon Jacobs is a 7th round pick who is actually already solid at a position we have sucked at (Strongside LB) since Dave Caldwell became GM in 2013.

Was already very good, still on track:
-Yeldon as a 3rd down back. He set up our starters’ only scoring drive and had 5 catches for 73 yards.
-Yannick Ngakoue becoming an excellent DE. He got all up in the Vikings business.
-Telvin Smith’s instincts. Dude is so fast to the ball, his read and react skills pop every time he’s on the field, practice / preseason / playoffs you always get top notch Telvin. Love him.
-you still can’t run at Campbell’s side of the line at all.

Disappointing
-Fournette. He’s been practicing against the Vikings all week and half those running plays he looked like he had no idea what to do. Where’s decisive Fournette? If there’s nothing there then bust through a motherfucker and get 4 yards. Stop playin.
-Bortles. Come on man. Harrison Smith is laughing at you. You’re still too easy to predict and way too inconsistent about short timing oriented passes. Those are the things that make you a subpar QB even though you have great pocket presence and make the hard highlight throws.

It just seems so simple to correct, he does the hard stuff fairly well, why can’t he do anything easy? It’s like me and how I am perpetually late to work. There’s no reason for it, I just continually slip back into the habit and I just suck lol


Knew this would suck
-Josh Wells at RT. Can you say roster bubble? He’s been our swing tackle for 4 years and if Joeckel wasn’t so bad he wouldn’t have earned that to begin with.
-Marqise Lee. Getting open but dropping the pass is his thing and he’s still doing that thing. Bortles despite playing sloppy did throw a perfect out-n-up 40 yards out, Lee burned his man so bad he fell, and then straight up DROPPED a sure touchdown.

 

This rule is gonna ruin football

 

What was he even flagged for? Is this the “lowering the head” rule? Yikes.

 

Deshaun Watson threw for 74 yards, had a touchdown and didn't throw any interception?
